I have always wanted to master the art of painting human portraits. I enrolled in classes to learn about proportions and, eventually, to make dramatic paintings that express a mood. Mastering any art form needs a great deal of practice. It will take many portraits to get there, maybe more than 100. Here are some paintings from my watercolour practice sessions. In each one of them, I have tried to express a certain emotion.
Materials used: Watercolour, micro-tip pens, cartridge sheets and watercolour paper.
Happy Creating.
