Past four weeks I have been staying in a remote village in Himachal Pradesh called Gadagusain where I have taken up a large project of painting the hostel’s walls. I couldn’t have asked for a better project as I get to do the thing I love, waking up everyday to the fresh smell of coffee in the middle of the mountains and living a slow village life which has been an absolute refreshment from the hectic tedious Mumbai life.
I was given the task of creating a cowboy themed sun deck where it is a very Texas country theme and I had so much fun painting it. However, it did come with a few challenges for example, I had to sketch this horse thrice because it was washed away during a hailstorm.
All these projects are not only helping me to broaden my creative horizons but also understand how one can do so much even with limited tools. I am learning something new everyday while pushing my creative boundaries too.
